1. Scope
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and other mechanisms that store or access information on a device. This policy uses “storage technologies” as a collective term.
Some storage is essential to provide a service a user requests, such as keeping an account signed in or remembering a privacy choice. Analytics storage is optional and is not activated until you allow it.
2. What we use
| Technology | Purpose | Category | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| l47-consent-v2 | Remembers whether you allowed optional analytics so your choice can be respected across Level Four Seven services on the same parent domain. | Essential / privacy preference | Up to 180 days before we ask again, or until browser storage is cleared. |
| Authentication/session storage in the app | Keeps signed-in users authenticated and protects account sessions. Names may vary by deployment and authentication provider configuration. | Strictly necessary | Session/token lifetime or until sign-out, depending on the item. |
| Interface preference storage | Remembers choices such as appearance and interface state on the device. | Functional / requested preference | Until changed or browser storage is cleared. |
| PostHog analytics storage, including a project-specific ph_* cookie | Maintains a pseudonymous analytics identifier so we can understand visits, journeys and product usage across the marketing website and app. | Optional analytics | Up to 180 days; created only after analytics consent. |
| Security and load-delivery technologies | Support secure delivery, fraud/abuse prevention and reliable operation where used by our hosting and infrastructure providers. | Strictly necessary where required for the requested service | Varies according to the security or delivery function. |
3. Analytics
With your permission, we use PostHog to measure website traffic and understand how Deep Tech Intelligence is used. Our implementation uses PostHog’s European Union cloud region. Analytics is not initialised before you allow it.
Analytics events can include the page or product route visited, pseudonymous browser or device identifiers, referring or campaign information, broad technical context and specific product interactions that we deliberately instrument. In the signed-in application, we may associate analytics with an internal account identifier and account type so we can understand feature adoption and retention. We do not send the user’s name or email address to PostHog as analytics identity properties.
We currently disable automatic element capture, session replay and PostHog surveys. Pageview URLs are recorded without query strings so search terms and other URL parameters are not intentionally sent as part of pageview tracking.
We do not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers.
4. Your choices
The cookie notice offers Accept all, Reject optional and Manage options. You can reopen Cookie settings from the marketing website footer or the application’s Account settings at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future analytics capture and clears PostHog analytics persistence through the client.
When the marketing site and application are served from levelfourseven.com and its subdomains, the consent cookie is scoped to that parent domain so the same choice can be respected across both. Temporary or preview domains are separate browser origins and may therefore require a separate test choice.
Most browsers also allow you to block or delete storage technologies. Blocking strictly necessary authentication or security storage may prevent parts of the service from working.
5. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the technologies, providers or purposes change. Where a materially different use requires consent, we will request a fresh choice before activating it.
