Level Four Seven helps large organisations and startups move from promising ideas to well-designed pilots that generate clear, usable evidence.
We do this by clarifying the problem, defining what would count as proof, shortlisting technologies, and designing & facilitating realistic pilots. We mainly work in Europe, with technologies around TRLs 4–7.
We work with corporates, public-sector, startups, and investors / accelerators.
Our Process

Clarify the challenge
Translate broad goals into a specific problem statement and site-level requirements.
2.
Scan and shortlist
Identify and compare relevant technologies, so you can focus on a small number of promising candidates.
3.
Pilot design and set-up
Define scope, sites, KPIs, responsibilities, and safeguards, so the pilot can run without disrupting day-to-day operations.
4.
Pilot facilitation and learning
Help keep the pilot on track, gather data, and summarise findings into a clear, balanced recommendation.
Why Level Four Seven
Level Four Seven is an independent partner focused on helping tech solutions at TRLs 4–7 get a fair, realistic trial in the real world. We work with corporates, startups, and investors to clarify what needs to be proven, design pilots that fit real sites and constraints, and turn results into clear, balanced evidence that each side can trust.
We bring a mix of technical expertise and practical experience of how large organisations, early-stage teams, and technology pilots actually work. Because we are not tied to any specific vendor or programme, we can be honest about fit, timing, and risk, and are comfortable saying “not yet” when that is the right answer. Our focus is on making sure the right pilots run, and that their results are strong enough to base real decisions.
